This pattern is for a ‘Gibson Girl’ era long travel coat or duster with wide lapels. The sleeves are full at the top and narrow at the wrist with contrast cuffs and pocket flap details. The bonnet is the typical travel bonnet of the period with a large brim and ribbon ties. The bonnet can be trimmed any way you wish with ruffled lace, silk flowers, feathers, or ribbons and bows.
